Who We Are For
The Muster Point is open to all members of the Armed Forces community, including serving personnel, veterans, reservists, and their families. Whether you are currently serving, have recently transitioned, or left the Armed Forces many years ago, you are welcome.
You do not need to be in crisis to attend. Many people come to stay connected, maintain a sense of belonging, or support others through shared experience and mutual understanding.
What to Expect When You Attend
The Muster Point exists to provide a consistent, reliable space where members of the Armed Forces community can reconnect with others who share similar experiences. Our meet-ups are informal and welcoming, with no pressure to talk and no expectations placed on anyone who attends.
Some people come for conversation and connection. Others come simply to sit among people who understand service life and the challenges that can follow. Both are equally valid.
There is no referral process and no requirement to engage with services. Attendance is entirely voluntary, and people are free to come and go in their own time. This flexibility allows individuals to engage at a pace that feels right for them.
The Muster Point is built on mutual respect, shared understanding, and the belief that community plays a vital role in wellbeing after service. By creating regular opportunities to meet, we help reduce isolation and strengthen peer support locally.
